Sakura-Con
Jechts is a Portland based cosplayer and maker specializing in Props and Armor that require special effects around lighting, mechanics, and experimental techniques. While most at home with EVA Foam, he tries to incorporate new materials and approaches into each new build, and then shares the successes (and sometimes failures) with others in the maker and cosplay community. Recent projects have included props with automated moving parts on button press, props with every external surface illuminated by Led, and skin-tight armor with color controllable lighting while hiding the Led elements. He is constantly searching for ways to innovate, and takes inspiration both from helping others, and seeing the breakthroughs and work of fellow builders. He’s excited to see what Sakura-Con 2017 has in store!
