Logistics

It’s the beginning of recruitment season and the Logistics team is looking for some hard-working people to help us get ready for the 2017 Convention. A lot of our work is starting now and we need you!

The Logistics team has a few requirements:

  1. You must be able to lift 50lbs.
  2. Be ready to be active, we do a lot of running around!
  3. Attend at least 3 work days (typically Saturdays or Sundays, 11- 3p) before the ‘Con. These are typically at our shed in Burien, if travel is a concern we also help organize carpools.
  4. Agree to work at least one on-call shift during the ‘Con (shifts are about 4 hours). If you cannot make work days we will assign additional shifts during the ‘Con to make sure you make your required hours.

What is Logistics? We are in charge of transporting items for the other SakuraCon departments. This means working before the convention to move and organize these items. Our biggest role will be directly before con, to bring everything to the convention center and deliver it to departments. After con we gather and return departments items to our storage (called Load-Out).

If you want to make it a great convention please send an email to logistics@dev.sakuracon.org, we would love to add you to our team!
